Tribesmen free German engineer

SANA'A, Jan. 20 (Saba) - Tribesmen of Shabwa governorate released on
Tuesday the German engineer along with two Yemenis abducted last
Sunday, Interior Ministry said on Thursday.

The Information center of the ministry reported that the tribal
leaders' mediation in the governorate has ended up with the release.

The ministry expected that the German hostage will arrive this
night, Tuesday, in Sana'a.

The three men, who work for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), had been
abducted on Saturday in the Shabwa governorate southern of the
capital Sana'a.

The kidnappers demanded that the authorities release fellow
tribesmen from prison in connection to a murder case.
