Arab Parliament delivers humanitarian, medical aid to Palestine

SANA'A, Jan. 20(Saba) - Arab Parliament delivered on Tuesday a
humanitarian and medical aid shipment at $ 250,000 for the
Palestinian people.

Deputy speaker of the Arab Parliament Mansour al-Zindani, who went
to Egypt to deliver the shipment, declared in a statement to Saba
that, the shipment included medical aid, food, ambulances, medical
devices and electric generator as a form of solidarity with the
Palestinian people.

The mission will also monitor the development of events in Gaza
strip to provide views and proposals to the Arab Parliament in
respect of preparing the reconstruction of Gaza, he added.

He said "We have been mandated by the Arab Parliament to implement
this task out of its confidence on the Yemeni nationality and
neutrality", and pointing out that the assistance will be handed
over to the Palestinian Red Crescent who will in turn enter it to
the Palestinian territory.
