Iran has always been supporter of Palestinian nation, says Saudi Health Min

Riyadh, Jan 20, IRNA Saudi Health Minister Hamad al-Manea said here Monday at a meeting
with Iran?s Ambassador to Riyadh Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini everyone
knows Iran has paid dearly for adopting its humanitarian stand in
support of oppressed Palestinian nation.

According to IRNA correspondent in Riyadh, the Saudi minister further
reiterated, ?Iran, as a powerful country within the Islamic world, has
always been by the side of the Islamic Ummah since the late Imam
Khomeini?s era to the present day, always assisting the oppressed
nations around the globe.?
He emphasized, ?It has been the Zionist regime that has always been
breaching the international laws and unfortunately the international
bodies have never been checking seriously the conduct of that regime
that possesses over 200 nuclear warheads.
Al-Manea referred to the serious crimes that Israel committed in Gaza
recently leading to martyrdom of over 1,300 Palestinians, including
more than 200 infants and children, reiterating, ?The mankind would
never forget that cruel crime.?
He added, ?Despite mounting threats and pressure, Iran has achieved
self sufficiency in many fields, an eye-catching sample of which is
your country?s self sufficiency in nuclear technology for peaceful
purposes.
The Islamic Republic of Iran?s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, too, during
the meeting elaborated on the broad range of criminal acts committed
by the Zionists in Gaza recently, adding, ?The nonchalance and passive
mood of the international organizations and some Islamic countries
towards those crimes led to their continuation for over three weeks.?
Hosseini added, ?The broad support of the world nations and political
activities of some other Islamic countries in defense of the
defenseless Palestinian nation on Gaza left the Zionist regime
incapable of achieving its illegitimate objectives in Gaza Strip.?
