Yemen, Spain discuss cooperation in fisheries wealth

SANA'A, Jan. 19 (Saba) - Minster of Fisheries Wealth Mohammed
Shamlan discussed on Monday with the Spanish ambassador to Sana'a
Marcos Vega possibility of expanding bilateral cooperation in
fisheries areas.

During the meeting, the two officials agreed on assigning a joint
team of specialists and technicians to draft a cooperation protocol
enabling Yemen to avail more from the Spanish experience in
fisheries wealth area.

The Minister said that Yemen looks forward to gain advantages from
the Spanish potentials and experiences in fields of fishery
industries in order to benefit from the huge fish wealth in the
Yemeni territorial waters.

The minister extended a call for the Spanish companies and capitals
to avail from the merits and facilities given by the Yemeni
investment law for investors and the opportunities available
throughout the Yemeni coast.
