2 presidents invited to Palestinian resistance victory feast
Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA - The Islamic Students Society invited the presidents of Bolivia and
Venezuela to participate in a celebration to be held here in near
future on the occasion of the victory of the Palestinian resistance
against the Zionist regime in Gaza.
The feast will be hosted by Tehran University celebrating the victory
of the resistance of the people of Gaza during the Zionist regime?s 22
days of savage attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist entity, announced a unilateral truce late on Saturday
after three weeks of deadly offensive on the besieged Gaza which left
more than 1,100 killed and over 5,000 injured mostly women and children.
The body sent separate letters inviting President Hugo Chavez of
Venezuela and President Juan Evo Morales of Bolivia to the feast.
Venezuela and Bolivia cut diplomatic ties with Israel a couple of days
ago in protest over the Zionist regime?s military offensive in the
Gaza Strip.
Bolivia has also sought genocide charges against Israeli officials for
their atrocities against the defenseless Gazans.
Appreciating Caracas and La Paz for their support for the people of
Palestine, Gazans in particular, the society said in its letters, ?The
coming generations would proudly remember your courageous act.?
The students expressed hope that the two presidents would accept the
invitation and attend the upcoming feast in Tehran.
