Dubai Airport Free Zone wins information security award
Dubai – Jan 18, 2009 (WAM) Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (Dafza) has been awarded the ISO 27001 information security award. The international award recognises excellence in information security for e-services delivered to its customers through a website and 'Tasheel' electronic port according to a report by Emirates Business 24|7.
The award was presented to Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airport Free Zone. Dr Mohammed Al Zarouni, Dubai Airport Free Zone Director-General, who presented the award, said that applying the international standards of information security was a priority in the activities and services of Dafza extended to its customers.
He said Dubai Airport Free Zone work strictly follows the Dubai Government guidelines, which promote the application of the best technologies of information business and its protection to create trust among business partners and assuring success of business operations.
