Yemeni-Iranian talks session launched in Sana'a
SANA'A, Jan.17 (Saba) - A Yemeni-Iranian talks session was launched on Saturday headed by Minister of Public Works and Roads Umar al-Kurshomi and the Iranian Minister of Housing and Urban Development Mohammad Saeedi-Kia.
The talks dealt with aspects of reinforcing the bilateral cooperation between the
two countries, particularly in the areas of public works, housing and urban
development.
During the session, the minister al-Kurshomi affirmed te Yemen's keenness to develop
the relation with Iran in various areas, pointing out to the importance of
benefiting from Iranian experience in the domain of housing.
The minister reviewed the latest development in the sectors of housing and public
works, calling the Iranian side to invest in the country, particularly in the lights
of Yemeni investment facilities provided for the investment.
For his part, Iranian minister highlighted the depth in relation between the two
countries, affirming his country's readiness to invest in Yemen, particularly in the
field of housing and praised the facilities provided by the Yemeni investment law to
attract investment in various fields.
He called the Minister of Public Works and Roads to visit Iran to be briefed with
the Iranian experience in the field of housing and to discuss mechanisms to promote
joint cooperation between the two sides in this field.
