Contributions to women's empowerment urged

Manama, July 21 (BNA): Cooperation Committee between the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) and women's societies and committees discussed boosting joint coordination to promote empowerment of Bahraini women in line with National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women (2013-2022). Progress on the implementation of the National Strategy for the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence was also discussed. In addition to reviewing the activities of women's societies and committees on the Bahraini Women's Day 2016 themed (Women in the judicial and legal fields), aimed at highlighting Bahraini women's achievements in the same area.
