Supreme Leader sends message to Hamas prime minister

Tehran, Jan17, IRNA - Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Friday that Palestinians resistance against Zionists savage crimes in Gaza has disgraced US, the Zionist regime's supporters and traitors to the Islamic Ummah.

"The courageous resistance and faith shown by you and every and each
of the Palestinian nation against one of the most tragic war crimes of
the history have disgraced the US, the Zionist regime?s supporters and
traitors to the Islamic Ummah (nation)," the ayatollah said in a
message to Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.

Referring to failure of the Zionist regime's well-equipped army
against the patience, courage and sacrifices of the oppressed people
of Gaza, the Supreme Leader said their resistance has not only raised
the flag of Islamic Ummah?s dignity, it has further humiliated the
enemy of humanity."

Stressing that ?Even today, Palestinians are the winners? of the
ongoing war in Gaza, Ayatollah Khamenei said that further resistance
of the brave people of Gaza would ?further humiliate and defeat the
wretched enemy, God willing.?

He added that Iranians were deeply grieving by witnessing the ongoing
bloodshed and tragic onslaught against civilians, particularly the
innocent women and children, in Gaza.

Referring to certain Arab states, the ayatollah said, ?The traitor
Arabs should know that they would have not a better fate than that of
the Jews in Ahzab War (in the holy Prophet?s era).

?Nations are with the people and Jihadi fighters of Gaza,? Said the
Supreme Leader, adding, ?Governments that take different positions
than those of their nation?s vis-à-vis Gaza, would only deepen the gap
between their nations and governments.
