Yemen asks int'l community to stop aggression on Gaza

NEW YORK, Jan. 16 (Saba)- The Republic of Yemen asked on Thursday
the international community to perform their tasks regarding the
barbaric Israeli offensive on Gaza Strip and to put an end to the
Israeli occupation on the Palestinian territories.

That was mentioned during Yemen speech delivered by Yemen permanent
representative at the United Nations in New York Abdullah al-Saidi
in the extraordinary session of the UN General Assembly on
developments of the Israeli attacks on Gaza people.

Al-Saidi considered what is taking place in the occupied Palestine,
including Gaza Strip, due to the Israeli aggression is meant to
impose the reality of occupation and to render Palestinians homeless.

He criticized carelessness of Israel with UN resolution No. 1860,
asking UN Security Council to take a number of procedures to oblige
Israel to act accoriding to this resolution.

He also called Security Council to force Israel to follow views of
the International Criminal Court and break the portioning wall set
up by Israel.
