President discusses with country's high leaderships situations in

SANA'A, Jan. 15 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held on
Thursday an elaborated meeting with country's high leaderships for
discussing situations in Gaza and massacres Israel is committing
against Palestinians there.

The meeting dealt with Yemen's efforts aiming at realizing
Palestinian reconciliation and boosting Palestinian front. Among of
these efforts is Yemen's recent initiative aiming at realizing
reconciliation between Palestinian factors. The initiative has been
presented to Fattah and Hamas leaders in Egypt last year.

Embarking on keenness on Arab unified front under the tragic
situations suffered by Palestinian in Gaza Strip, Yemen calls for
giving priority in Kuwait Economic Summit to these tragedies and
Arab-Israeli conflict.

The meeting asserted the summit has to affirm instant Israeli
aggression against Palestinian people and withdrawing from Gaza. The
summit has also to affirm ending blockade imposed on Gazians,
reviewing economic and political relations with Israel, calling for
imposing economic blockade against Israel and banning it from
importing arms. Finally, the summit must call on for trialing
Israeli leaderships responsible on committing genocides in Gaza
Strip and establishing Arab fund for reconstructing Gaza.

The meeting asserted necessity on International Community's
responsibilities in applying justice, equality and peace. The
meeting expressed sorrow that the international community deals with
aggressive war against armless people with double-standard policy.

The meeting called on Arab leaders to undertake their national and
historical responsibilities for issuing resolutions fulfilling
aspirations of their people and avoid everything disrupting Arab
front's unity.
