Education minister discusses ET program with BC

SANA'A, Jan. 14 (Saba)- Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jaofi
discussed on Wednesday with the appraiser of the English Teaching
Program ETP and Director of Training at the British Council (BC)
level of implementing the program in targeted schools.

They agreed on taking several practical steps to carry out the
project of teaching English, which is supported by the British
Council.

It is scheduled to generalize the program in all schools across the
country by 2010.

Currently, the program target 46 schools in Sana'a capital, Aden and
Taiz governorates, the appraiser of the program said.

She highlighted level of implementing the program.

Al-Jaofi valued British support for the educational programs in
Yemen including English language.
