SNACC receives financial disclosure of Commander of Republican Guards
SANA'A, Jan. 13 (Saba)- The Supreme National Anti-Corruption
Commission or SNACC received Tuesday financial disclosure of
Commander of the Republican Guards Ahmad Saleh.
During the meeting with SNACC's head Ahmad al-Anesi, Ahmad Saleh who
is also the commander of Special Forces, praised efforts of the
commission in fighting corruption.
On the other hand, Head of the commission's financial disclosure
department Mohammad al-Matari announced that the commission has
received financial disclosure of 7700 officials included in law No.
30 for 2006 over financial disclosure.
On the other hand, Vice Chairman of the NACC Balquis Abu Isba'a met
on Tuesday with World Bank Communication's senior official prime
lines of the national strategy for fighting corruption, the
commission is carrying out with WB.
The strategy includes plans fitting with the second phase of the
national reforms agenda and the third five-year plan for economic
and social development. She said the commission would summon all its
partners to discus the strategy project.
She made it clear that this comes on the basis of the commission's
keenness on enhancing partnership on national and international
level for fighting corruption and protection against it.
