Al-Jabali affirms importance of protecting Zabid historical city

HODEIDAH, Jan. 13 (Saba)- Hodeidah governor Ahmed al-Jabali affirmed
on Tuesday importance of preserving Zabid Historical City and
implementing cabinet's decisions associated with protecting the city
which is in the list of the global heritage record.

The governor also asked the office of public works and roads and
office of the lands authority to pay field visit to the city to
determine a new location of the new Zabid city.

He affirmed that the local council and the governorate would
cooperate with the concerned bodies to restore the city to be in the
record of the global heritage.
