Electricity generation sources in Dhamar sought

DHAMAR, Jan. 13 (Saba)- Governor of Dhamar along with South Korean
ambassador to Sana'a Won-ho Kwak and head of Geological Survey and
Mineral Resources Authority Ismail al-Juneid got acquainted on
Tuesday with the located area to implement projects for electricity
generation on al-Lisy mountain in Maifa'a Ans district.

The visit to the region, with a number of specialized and
technicians, comes to get acquaint with governorate's owned
capabilities in alternative energy field and make use of it to
implement various projects.

They have listened to results of studies which were carried out by
Geological Survey Authority and the Ministry of Water and
Environment in renewal energy fields and searching for alternative
resources for electricity.
