Court hears evidence against Musaik terrorist ring

SANA'A, Jan. 13 (Saba) - The Specialized Penal Court has started
hearing evidence against the Musaik terrorist network.

During the Monday's session chaired by Judge Radhwan al-Namer,
Prosecution representative read out investigation minutes containing
confessions of two of the ring members.

One of the two members revealed that the ring worked to recruit new
faces and train them at camps in the northern province of Saada to
carry out terrorist attacks against tourists in the Old Sana'a Town.

The court later delayed the session in which it will hear evidence
against the third and fourth suspects until next
week.

The court also ordered the suspects be medically examined.

The four-member Musaik terrorist network face charges related to
forming an armed gang that planed to attack tourists in the country.

The ring is also accused of planning to attack foreign targets
inside Yemen as well as security facilities.
