Larijani arrives in Ankara to attend IPU session

Ankara, Jan 13, IRNA - Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, heading a political and parliamentary delegation, arrived in Ankara on Saturday to attend an extraordinary session of executive committee of the Islamic Interparliamentary Union on Gaza crisis.

While in Turkey, the Iranian speaker is to meet Turkish President
Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tehran-Ankara
bilateral relations as well as the latest regional developments,
particularly the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Larijani is to address the Islamic IPU session which is to begin in
Istanbul on Wednesday. The session is scheduled to discuss ways to
stop the Zionists atrocities against the defenseless Palestinians in
Gaza.

Meeting his counterparts on the sidelines of the IPU session is also
on the agenda of Larijani?s visit to Turkey.
