LG Electronics to launch first notebook in U.S.
SEOUL, Jan. 13 (Yonhap) -- LG Electronics Inc., South Korea's second-largest consumer electronics maker, said Tuesday it aims to launch a notebook in the U.S. market for the first time.
The product is likely to hit the U.S. market within the first half of 2009, the
company officials said. It is equipped with 160 gigabyte hard disk, weighs 1.19
kg and features a 10-inch color screen.
The new model was shown at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES),
which was held on Jan. 8-11 in Las Vegas.
