Bahrain lauds Iran's stance on world Muslims

Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Manama Hossein Amir Abdullahian conferred on Monday with Bahraini Parliament Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed al-Dharhrani on issues of mutual concern.

At the meeting, the Bahraini official said his country lauds Iran's
noble stance on the issues of world Muslims mainly on Palestine.

He thanked Iran for adopting a pro-active diplomacy in backing
Palestinians and seeking to put an end to inhuman dastardly aggression
of Zionist forces against defenseless Palestinians in Gaza.

Welcoming the invitation extended by Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali
Larijani for holding the executive committee of Islamic
interparliamentary Union in Istanbul, he said all Muslims should
gather to exchange views to find a way out of the current crisis in
Gaza.

He expressed the hope that these efforts would bring a swift truce and
lead to withdrawal of Zionist forces opening of Rafah border crossing.

Upon invitation of Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijnai, a Bahraini
parliamentary delegation will attend the executive committee of IPU in
Istanbul on Wednesday.
