Dubai Municipality launches charity drive to help children in Gaza
Dubai, Jan 13, 2009 (WAM) - Under the patronage of the Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Municipality (DM) will organise a charity drive on 14th and 15th January to help the Gazan children crippled by Israeli aggression.
The charity drive under the slogan 'Children in Gaza are our children' aims to collect donations from people in Dubai to provide assistance to Palestinian children as directed by the crown prince, said Director of institutional marketing and public relations at DM Khalid Mohammed Badri.
He said that preparations have been completed for the campaign, which will create awareness among the public about the importance of extending a helping hand to the children of Gaza. Leaflets, posters and media advertisements have been designed to make the campaign successful.
