Soldiers' remains back home from Laos
Nghe An (VNA) - The central province of Nghe An has received and reburied the
remains of 204 Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who laid down their lives
in Laos during past wars at the war martyr cemetery in Do Luong district.
The remains have been found and brought home by the provincial search team with
helps of Lao authorities and people in the dry season of 2008 -2009. Only four
sets of the remains have been identified.
Nghe An's search team has worked regularly in Laos to repatriate remains of
Vietnamese soldiers who fell down in the neighbouring country.-Enditem
