Iran fingerprints UAE nationals:Qashqavi
Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that Iran has begun fingerprinting the United Arab Emirates passengers arriving in Iran temporarily.
Talking to reporters, he added that the decision has been a
tit-for-tat over fingerprinting Iranian nationals visiting the UAE.
This is the first time Iranian officials react to the UAE's
maltreatment of Iranian nationals.
UAE police used to hold Iranians for at least four hours at the
airport to check their passports.
