Iran`s diplomacy on Gaza will continue: spokesman
Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA - Foreign Ministry spokesman Hassan Qashqavi said on Monday that Iran's diplomacy would continue to end the Zionist regime's crimes against defenseless Palestinians.
Talking to reporters during his weekly press briefing, he stressed
that Iran's diplomacy on Gaza is based on four axes including, end of
Israeli violence, urgent withdrawal of the Zionist forces, lift of the
Gaza economic blockade, and humanitarian supplies to the innocent
Palestinians in Gaza.
Briefing the reporters on Iran's efforts to help settle the Gaza
crisis, he criticized the UN resolution 1860 which was issued two
weeks after massive bombardments and war crimes perpetrated by Tel
Aviv leaders in Gaza.
Condemning the US policy to give abstinate vote to the UN resolution,
he said such a move is to show green light to the Zionists crimes
against the innocent Palestinian people.
On dispatch of special envoys by the Iranian President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad to different countries to rally support of the
international community to end humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Qashqavi
said Iran's diplomatic moves and consultations with the world leaders
will continue.
He expressed hope that Iran's efforts would bear fruit in the near future.
