Bahrain peace-loving country

Manama, March 28 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and a number of parliamentarians, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, ministers and officials. HRH the Premier was congratulated on the International Leadership Award 2016 granted to him by the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations in tribute for his pioneering efforts to achieve human development at the local and international level. He commended the wise vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, describing it as the catalyst of the kingdom's accomplishments. He also paid tribute to the Bahraini people, lauding their patriotism and dedication to the nation. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed that Bahrain is a peace-loving country, ready to cooperate with all without compromising the national interests and security. He pledged to continue adopting initiatives to foster security and fast-track development. He also discussed with members of the legislative branch national issues, underlining the government's keenness to back the legislative and monitoring role of the legislature.
