Human Being project launched in Sana'a

SANA'A, Jan 11 (Saba) - A project of Human Being was launched in
Sana'a on Sunday implemented by the international life Makers Union
in cooperation with the ministry of youths and sports UK Right Start
Foundation as well as official, civil and private corporations.

In the ceremony of launching the project, the minister of education
Abdul-Salam al-Jaofi said that the challenges faces youths in the
Islamic nation and Yemen are, high population growth, shortage of
resources and theological differences.

Such challenges contribute to tend extremist thoughts which disagree
with the religious, national and culture principles and damage
tolerance and cooperation in addition to enhance abhorrence and
extremism, the minister said.

He pointed out to the electoral program of President Ali Abdullah
Saleh which aims at developing education and combating poverty.

The minister voiced support of the government for such initiative of
the union in Yemen and bring the project of Human Being into success.

The chairman of the right start corporation cleric Amr Khaled said
that the project of Human Being helps poor families not only
financially but also with love and changing it to be productive
families.

Initially, the project would support small projects for 100 poor
families, he said, the union the union would carry out the project
in Algeria, Sudan, Yemen, Egypt and Jordan. He added that the
project targets 7000 Arab families in 2009 in these countries.

nurturing constructive and positive co-existence between cultures,
faiths, minority groups and host communities. It is an advocate for
the voices of the youth and plays a developmental role in addressing
