Saudi authorities release 10 Yemeni fishermen

SANA'A, Jan. 11 (Saba) - Saudi authorities have released 10 Yemeni
fishermen detained last week and seized their boat in the Saudi
al-Washka island.

The fishermen who arrived in Yemen through Haradh outlet said that
Saudi authorities have taken them along with their boat to al-Washka
island and then to Fursan island where they have been investigated,
according to the website of Interior Ministry.

During the investigation, the fishermen told the Saudi authority
that strong wind and high waves have swept them to the Saudi
regional water last Monday.

The fishermen were taken by the Saudi authorities to Jizan
governorate and to Hodeidah governorate.
