Masum, Kubiš Discuss Preparations For Iraq Reconstruction Conference

BAGHDAD / NINA / President Fuad Masum discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jan Kubiš, the preparations for holding Iraq reconstruction conference. According to a presidential statement, "The two sides discussed, during the meeting today, the latest developments on the Iraqi arena." The statement added that they also discussed ongoing preparations to hold the Conference on the reconstruction of Iraq and the president initiative to launch the dialogue between the religious authorities, as well as the files of reforms and national reconciliation and UNAMI's role in Iraq."
