Swiss art devotees to get exclusive look at upcoming Korean artist`s work

SEOUL, Jan. 9 (Yonhap) -- Works of South Korea's emerging contemporary artist Kim
Eun will soon go on exhibition in Switzerland through an exclusive contract, art
directors here said Friday.
Gallery Ho in Seoul said dozens of Kim's works will be displayed at Galleria
Sacchetti in the spring.
The 36-year-old artist has been drawing interest from art critics in and out of
the country, especially after her pieces were displayed at the Belgium Line Art
Fair last month. All 17 of her paintings and sculptures were sold during the art
fair.
Despite an overall recession in the global art world, young Asian artists from
Korea and China have been popular among art dealers looking for more moderately
priced works.
