SCW musters efforts to mark Bahraini Women's Day2016

Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA): The Supreme Council for Women (SCW)'s general-secretariat convened a meeting with civil society organisations - (NGOs) - to listen to their views and visualizations regarding Bahraini Women's Day2016 celebration dedicated this year in honour of professional women in the legal and judicial fields. Bahrain Bar Associations(BBA)'s chairman, Dr. Huda Al Mehza, Bahrain Women Union (BWU)'s chairman Fatima Abu Idris, and members of the Executive Committee on Cooperation between the SCW and women's committees also attended the meeting. The meeting discussed the general-secretariat's proposals regarding a series of activities and functions associated with Bahraini Women's Day, including public legal awareness programmes, promotion of legal services available for women and showcasing success stories of professional career women in this field.
