Daewoo Engineering wins US$190 mln order from Malaysia

SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) -- Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., South Korea's
biggest builder, said Thursday that it has received a US$190 million order to
build a skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
The order was awarded by Arena Merdu Sdn. Bhd., a unit of Malaysia's KLCC
Property Holdings Berhad, Daewoo Engineering said in a regulatory filing.
However, Daewoo Engineering did not disclose when it will break ground for the
58-story building.
