BCCI chairman receives IPI director

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Khalid Almoayed has received the director of International Peace Institute (IPI) for the MENA region Nejib Friji and discussed with him IPI’s projects and the role it plays in promoting international peace and encouraging a culture of prevention. Almoayed commended IPI on its diplomatic strides in promoting international peace and security, settling disputes between countries, and conducting studies and research in the area. He also welcomed cooperation between the Chamber and IPI in entrenching a culture of peace, while highlighting the importance of fostering economic and social integration, which constitutes a pillar to sustainable peace.
