Bahraini, Egyptian trade cooperation discussed Business

Jan. 28 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has organised bilateral meetings with an Egyptian trade delegation that represents various business sectors. The bilateral meetings included available investments opportunities in Bahrain and Egypt. The meetings were held in the presence of BCCI Second Vice-Chairman Jawad Al Hawaj, Board member and Bahraini Egyptian Joint Business Council Chairman of the Bahraini side Afnan Al Zayani, Financial Secretary Isa Al-Rifai, Executive Bureau Member Khalid Al Amin, Board Member Khalid Rashid Al-Zayani and BCCI CEO Nabeel Al Mahmood. Afnan Al Zayani affirmed the keen interest of BCCI and the Bahraini side at the Bahraini Egyptian Joint Business Council on activating the bilateral relations in order to promote the partnership relations between the joint business sectors. She pointed out that the development of the investment climate in both the countries, paves the way for increased bilateral trade, a strategic partnership and access to joint investment projects. The meetings addressed the available investment opportunities between the Bahraini businessmen and their Egyptian counterparts, presentations by Tamkeen, Economic Development Board (EDB) and Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) and presentations by the Egyptian businessmen on the success of their investments and projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Egyptian trade delegation represents various business sectors like furniture and furnishings, home appliances and supplies, natural oils, accessories, clothing, cotton and others products.
