Bahraini-Russian cooperation discussed

Manama, Jan. 27 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received here today Bahraini-Russian Friendship Association Chairman Dr. Nabeel Al Asoomi, in the presence of a number of Bahraini and Russian board members. They reviewed topics pertaining to the association's role and mission like promoting bilateral relations in various areas of civil work. Humaidan lauded the role played by Civil Society Institutions (CSIs) at voluntary work and pointed out the association's positive national mission, stressing the importance of the efforts exerted by the association's members at consolidating bilateral relations in various development fields. The minister affirmed the ministry's support for the cultural and social activities of the association through its voluntary work aimed at promoting voluntary work and enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain's trade relations with other countries. Al Asoomi expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for his support of civil and voluntary work in the Kingdom and pointed out that the association is keen on developing the Bahraini-Russian relations in the investment and tourism fields and exchange of expertise in various fields.
