Interior Minister receives Arab Interior Ministers Council Secretary General

Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): Interior Minister Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received today Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Kouman. He lauded the role of the council's Secretariat General in boosting pan-Arab work in the security field and following up on the decisions of the Arab Interior Ministers. Shaikh Rashid was also briefed on the main issues that will be discussed in the session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council to be held in Tunisia in March. Dr. Kouman expressed his appreciation of meeting the Interior Minister, lauding his visions concerning the development of Arab security coordination and cooperation. He also hailed the efforts of the Interior Ministry to maintain the security and stability of Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major-General Khalid Salem Al Absi and Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Major-General Mohammed Rashid Buhamood .
