Deep-rooted Bahraini-US relations hailed

Manama, Jan. 26 (BNA): President of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and President of the Cassation Court Chancellor Salim bin Mohammed Al-Kuwari received here today US Ambassador to Bahrain William V. Roebuck. Al-Kuwari highlighted the deep-rooted Bahrain-US relations in all fields, and affirmed the SJC's keenness on promoting joint cooperation in the judicial and human rights fiels, in line with the international treaties and conventions. He pointed out that Bahrain's judiciary started with the establishment of the state in the eighteenth century and noted the importance of sustainable development in all areas. The ambassador expressed thanks to SJC, praising Bahrain's education and security. He also said that Bahrain is a state of instituions that support and stimulate investment.
