HM King visits Saudi Hawks, UAE Al-Fursan pavilions

Manama, Jan.23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa toured the pavilions of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) Hawks and the UAE Armed Forces display team "Al Fursan" – The Knights – as part of his visit to Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS-216)- being held at the Sakhir Airbase. H He hailed their continuous participation in BIAS since its inception which, he said, reflects deep-rooted historic relations bonding Bahrain with both Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He commended the dazzling displays staged by the Saudi Hawks and the UAE Al-Fursan, which reflected their competence and talent that enthralled the spectators and visitors. He paid tribute to all those who contributed to the preparation and organization of the exhibition, hailing the dedicated efforts which, he said, reflected the mettle of Bahrainis and their keenness on honouring the homeland in all regional, Arab and international arenas. He extended thanks to HM the King’s Personal Representative, Head of BIAS High Organising Committee His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, committee members, the affiliates of the BDF, Interior Ministry, National Guard and Civil Aviation Directorate. He also paid tribute to the sponsoring companies and enterprises which contributed to BIAS 2016 resounding success.
