Yemeni-UAE trade, investment cooperation discussed

SANA'A, Jan. 07 (Saba) - Yemen and United Arab Emirates discussed
here on Wednesday cooperation relations between the two countries in
trade and investment areas.

Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakel and the UAE
Ambassador to Yemen Abdullah al-Mazroua'i held talks on encouraging
the joint investment.

The meeting also discussed enhancing cooperation relations between
Yemeni-UAE businessmen to gain advantage from investment
opportunities in the two countries as well as participating in the
trade fairs.

It also confirmed the importance of establishing Yemeni-UAE joint
businessmen council and encouraging exporting the Yemeni exports
into the UAE markets.

On the other hand, Minister al-Mutawakel discussed with the charge
d'affaires of U.S. embassy in Sana'a Angie Bryan the American
efforts to support Yemen's accession to the World Trade Organization
(WTO) and integrating its economy into the global economy.
