BDF Chief receives Azeri Deputy Defence Minister

Manama, Jan. 21(BNA): Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa received Azeri deputy defense minister, air force commander, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov, who arrived in Manama to attend the opening of the 4th edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS- 2016). The BDF Chief welcomed the Azeri military official and discussed with him joint cooperation and strong relations of friendship, wishing him a good stay in Bahrain. He underlined the importance of the expo as a good platform to keep abreast of latest aviation strides, stressing Bahrain's pioneering standing on the map of international events. Commemorative gifts were exchanged. The meeting was attended by BDF General Command Acting Director Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Inspector-General Major-General Abdulla Hassan Al-Nuaimi and other officers.
