House Speaker Meets Saudi Ambassador

BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of the House of Representatives Salem al-Jubouri confirmed that Iraq is looking forward to biggest Arabic role and more cooperation and efforts to cope with terrorism, which threatens the security and stability of the region. Jubouri, during a meeting with the Saudi ambassador, Thamer Sabhan, according to a statement of his office expressed hope that the opening of the Saudi embassy will pave a new phase of cooperation between the two countries; especially in light of the challenges faced by the region, which require further coordination in all fields." For his part, Sabhan stressed that the Kingdom looks forward to a new beginning of relations with Iraq, that contribute its stability and on all political, economic and security fields. / End
