HM King ratifies, issues law 1/2016

Manama, Jan.12 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law 1/2016 approving the Kingdom of Bahrain's joining the "Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to have Indiscriminate Effect" as endorsed in Geneva in October 1980 and its protocols IIV, IV and V. The Prime minister and the ministers - each according to his domain - have been tasked to implement this law which becomes effective from the day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
