HRH Premier, HRH Crown Prince review economic developments

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, at the Gudaibiya Palace. The two leaders reviewed the global economic developments and their impacts on the local market, as well as ways to deal with them. In this regard, they affirmed that Bahrain is looking forward to the contributions of all its citizens to the economic development march, calling for concerted efforts to develop the commercial sector so as to play its economic role. HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince praised the crucial role played by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and its historical contributions to the trade movement and economic affairs in the kingdom, stressing that BCCI should continue playing its role and enhance it amid the current economic situation. They affirmed that the trade and investment sectors in the kingdom are progressing steadily thanks to the kingdom's modern and solid legal and legislative infrastructure that keeps pace with the various global changes.
