HRH Premier praises Bahraini people's patriotic stances

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Bahraini citizens for their patriotic stances towards issues related to national security and stability, stressing that Bahrainis have always been known for their patriotism and keenness on maintaining Bahrain's status as an oasis of security and peace. HRH Premier made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today Royal Family members, and senior state officials. The Prime Minister called for the need to preserve the value of communication and interaction among segments of the Bahraini society, being an authentic feature that has always distinguished members of the Bahraini society and passed on by successive generations, calling for instilling such authentic values in the hearts of new generations so as to foster belonging to the nation. "We have adopted interaction with the citizens on various occasions as an approach which we are keen to foster, given its importance in enhancing rapprochement among us, and providing opportunities to be informed about the citizens' needs," he said, pledging commitment to the approach, being a proof of the Bahraini citizens' cohesions under all circumstances. Tackling regional and global issues, HRH Premier underlined the kingdom's full-fledged support to brotherly GCC countries in all matters, especially regarding security and stability, out of its belief that the GCC is a unified entity. Regarding economy, HRH Premier affirmed that the government is dealing with the current economic challenges in a way that maintains the sustainability of the development march and preserves standards of living. It is also keen on attracting new investment opportunities to ensure continuity of economic activities and diversification of income resources.
