Health minister lauds strong ties with Egypt

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh received here today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Ibrahim Mohammed Rifaat.\ The minister lauded the depth of the deep-rooted Bahraini-Egyptian relations, progressing steadily in all fields. She stressed the importance of bolstering bilateral cooperation, and enhancing joint exchange of expertise in the health field, expressing hope that bilateral relations will grow further in the coming periods, which, she said, will benefit two peoples and contribute to improving health services. The ambassador expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the kingdom's leadership, government and people, lauding the cooperation of all state officials with her, which, she affirmed, will boost the brotherly bilateral relations in various fields, particularly regarding the exchange of successful medical practices and expertise. The minister wished the Egyptian envoy every success in assuming her diplomatic duties in the kingdom. The Health Ministry's Legal Advisor Rehab Ahmed Al-Refae attended.
