Finance minister receives US ambassador

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA): Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received today the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck, and Rebecca Seweryn, Ph.D., US Embassy's Deputy Chief of Political & Economic Affairs. Financial and economic aspects of the strong cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the meeting, along with means of further developing such cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit. They also reviewed developments relating to the global economy and a number of issues of common interest.
