Bahraini-Egyptian cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, Jan 5 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammad Al Khalifa has received the newly appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Suha Rifaat. Ways to enhance culture relations to achieve the 2016 cultural goals, being held under slogan (Let Bahrain be your destination), were discussed BACA President commended the solid brotherly relations and cultural cooperation between the two countries. She said that Bahrain seeks enrichening its cultural activities by communicating with other cultures of Arab countries, chiefly Egypt for its gorgeous culture and civilization. The Egyptian Ambassador expressed appreciation of BACA President's efforts in reinforcing cultural and humanitarian relations, stressing keenness to cooperate with the BACA to achieve the cultural goals in the interest of both people. It is worth mentioning that Bahrain has been invited to attend the 47th Cairo International Book Fair as a guest of honour, following inviting Egypt as a guest of honour as Bahrain hosted the 2014 International Book Fair.
