Shura welcomes severing diplomatic ties with Iran

Manama, Jan 4 (BNA): The Shura Council has strongly condemned the attacks on the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and its consulate in the city of Mashhad, saying they were a violation of the international treaties and conventions. The Council stressed its support for all measures the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia takes in this regard. It also welcomed Bahrain's decision to sever diplomatic relations with Iran and shutting down its diplomatic mission in Tehran. The Council said Bahrain's decision accentuates the unity of stances between the two kingdoms.
