President Saleh phones Egyptian counterpart

SANA'A, Jan. 06 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has made a
phoned call with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hosni Mubarak
over the latest developments in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli
attacks on the Palestinians in the strip.

In the conversation, President Saleh praised the human and
responsibility role of Egypt towards Palestinian people, pointing
out the necessity of the ongoing opening of the Rafa border crossing
between Egypt and Gaza so that Palestinian people can receive the
necessary aids and needs.

President Saleh called on all Arab countries which have diplomatic
and trade relations with Israel to break these relations,
highlighting the important of gathering the Arab efforts to face the
Israeli aggressive on the Palestine territory.

For his part, Mubarak affirmed that the Rafa border crossing is
opened to receive wounded Palestinians due to the current Israeli
aggression in the Gaza Strip, confirming his country's support for
the Palestinian case.
