Yemen expresses regret for delaying ceasefire in Gaza

SANA'A, Jan. 06 (Saba) - Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has
expressed its strong regret for the delay of the UN Security Council
to issue ceasefire resolution in Gaza Strip and to rescue innocent
children lives who die due to Israeli strike against Palestinian
people.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Abu Baker al-Qirbi said that the US side
has refused Arab draft resolution which was taken by the Arab
Foreign Minister Council and presented to UN Security Council.

At the same level, al-Qirbi has pointed out to existing
Yemeni-Egyptian contacts to guarantee transfer of relief airplane
to Gazans loaded with about 40 tons of relief materials and
medicines to Arish Airport, expressing his hope to allow Yemeni
plane to pass on Wednesday.

He also indicated that there are also contacts with Egyptian to
transfer Palestinian injuries to treat them in Yemeni hospitals.
