Speaker stresses solidarity with Saudi Arabia

Manama, Jan.2 (BNA): Saudi Arabia has the right to defend its security and stability, safeguard achievements, and protect holy sites and the lives of citizens and residents. The Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed Al-Mulla voiced the stance, defending the right of Riyadh authorities to take all measures they deem adequate to protect the land of the two Holy Mosques against the scourge of terrorism, violations and deviant ideas. He expressed Bahrain’s unwavering support and solidarity with Saudi Arabia, hailing its dedicated efforts, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to deter any attempt to subvert its security. He affirmed the security of Saudi security as the pillar of the Arab and Islamic nations, stressing the crucial importance of the security of all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The Speaker commended the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia as well as strenuous efforts to maintain regional security and stability support Arab and Islamic fight against the scourge of terrorism and its proponents. He urged stronger GCC cooperation in combating terrorism, enforcing the law and all necessary measures aimed to protect member states and the future of coming generations from extremist trends which seek to subvert security and stability and spark sectarian strife in the Arab and Islamic nations.
