HM King receives French Defence Minister

09 : 15 PM - 31/12/2015 Manama, Dec.31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed the strong defence and military cooperation between Bahrain and France. He highlighted as he received at Al-Safriya Palace French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, currently on visit to Bahrain, the spirit of amity, closely-knit family and cooperation binding all religions and sects within the Bahraini society. Le Drian conveyed to HM the King greetings from French President Francois Hollande and wishes of abundant health and happiness. HM the King also extended greetings to President Hollande and wished the friendly French people further progress and prosperity. HM the King congratulated Le Drian on the New Year, reviewing deep-rooted relations and steadily growing cooperation on all levels. He affirmed Bahrain's keenness on further bolstering relations of friendship with France so as to reflect deep-rooted relations and serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
